What is a FLEXO Oil Skimmer?
The FLEXO oil skimmer is an equipment that removes floating tramp oils and some floating particles on the surface of a fluid. FLEXO oil skimmers work because we are using patent flexible chains or O-rings (mainly used for part washers, cleaning baths, etc.) as the conveying material to which tramp oil is more likely to stick than the fluid it is floating on.
In some cases oil skimmers may be used to pre-treat a liquid (parts washer, cleaning tanks, etc.). In this case, the oil skimmer removes as much of the floating oil as possible before more expensive and time consuming operations are performed.
